Sign Academy South Africa, offers the most comprehensive 2 day Basic Signwriting Course ever. How satisfying to have the know how to be able to Signwrite Boats, Wall Signs, Wood Signs and more!
This awesome course will cover all the basics of traditional signwriting, from preparation, layout and design, to shading, lining and brushwork, and you will have your own painted sign (and new-found skills) to take home with you at the end of the week for all to admire.
All materials are provided for the duration of the course.
The course runs from 8.30 am till 3.00 pm every day, and beverages are provided. Comfortable old clothes that you don't mind splashing with paint would be advised.
COURSE CONTENT:
This signwriting course is designed to give a comprehensive insight into the techniques involved in producing signwriting of a high standard. Like most skills, becoming proficient in them requires practice, and it is hoped while attending this course you grasp a good basic grounding to encourage yourself to progress to higher levels of accomplishment.
Subjects covered include aspects which enable the Signwriter to produce work to standards required in the commercial world while being comfortable with a more freestyle form of lettering.
