Our 2 Day Wallpaper installation training course provides industry standard skills in the application of wallpaper to walls to form a protective and decorative finish. It includes planning and preparation for the work, preparation of the surfaces and materials, different methods of wallpaper application and completion of clean-up activities.

 

Wallpaper:

• Identifying Tools and their Application

• Inspection and Correct Preparation of Surface

• Choosing the right paste and pasting method for different types of wallpapers

• Identify and apply different pattern matching

• Identifying Wallpaper Symbols and Icons on Commercial wallpapers

• Mixing of adhesives

• Set and mark out, including levelling and plumbing (straight and aligned)

• Measure and cutting of panels to correct sizes

• Application methods of adhesive

• Folding and Booking of wallpaper techniques

• Hang and re-plumb internal and external corners

• Mark, cut and trim around obstacles including Doorways, Window Inserts and Electrical Hardware

• Keeping of work areas safe, clean and tidy

• Application of wallpaper to internal, external corners and trimming

• Finishing Off - Post Application

• Choose the correct vinyl

• Identify different wall textures

• Set and mark out, including levelling and plumbing (straight and aligned)

• Measure and cut to correct sizes

• Apply vinyl to internal, external corners and trim
